Do we share your personal data outside the EU/EEA?
As a rule, Widala only share your personal data inside the EU/EEA, but we may in some cases use suppliers outside the EU/EEA. When we transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA, this is only done if we have a legal basis for the transfer in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for data protection. This means that we can transfer personal data to Privacy Shield-certified personal data assistants in the United States. In accordance with a decision by the European Commission, personal data may be transferred to recipients in the United States, provided the recipient is Privacy Shield certified. Privacy Shield is an agreement between the EU and the US with the aim of protecting the fundamental rights of Europeans and guaranteeing legal certainty for companies that transfer personal data to the US. US companies wishing to become Privacy Shield certified may apply to the US Department of Commerce, which ensures that the company's privacy policy complies with the high security standard required by Privacy Shield. For recipients who are not Privacy Shield certified, we can transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA with the support of standardized data protection regulations adopted by the European Commission. We may also transfer your personal data to a country that the European Commission has deemed to have an adequate level of protection for the processing of personal data. If you want detailed information about transfer outside the EU/EEA, you can contact us. Our contact information can be found in the second paragraph of this policy.
